On March 26, Director Lin of the Shandong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and Division Chief Cao of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce led a delegation to visit GD Chinese Wholesale Centre in Poland, where they held discussions with President Han and representatives of the Chinese business community in Poland.

Mr. Han Baohua, General Manager of GD Chinese Wholesale Centre and President of the Chamber of Commerce, introduced the delegation to Poland’s economic development, the current situation and prospects of China–Poland economic and trade cooperation, as well as the 30-year development history of GD Chinese Wholesale Centre. At present, GD Chinese Wholesale Centre has become an influential wholesale center for Chinese goods in Central and Eastern Europe. Many Chinese entrepreneurs in Poland have long been deeply engaged in the trade sector, playing a positive role in promoting China–Poland economic and trade development.
Director Lin stated that this visit left a deep impression on the scale and development of Poland and GD Chinese Wholesale Centre. Poland has a superior geographical location and is an important hub for China-Europe Railway Express entering Europe. As Shandong Province serves as the chair province for the China–Central and Eastern European Countries Local Leaders’ Meeting in 2025 and 2026, it will continue to promote cooperation and exchanges between China and Central and Eastern European countries. It is hoped that in the future more high-quality enterprises and products from Shandong will enter the Polish and European markets, while high-quality Polish products will also be introduced into China, further strengthening China–Poland economic and trade cooperation.
President Han noted that in recent years, China–Poland trade exchanges have become increasingly frequent, the freight volume of China-Europe Railway Express has continued to grow, and direct flights from Poland to China will increase to one flight per day starting from April, which fully demonstrates Poland’s important position and promising development prospects in China–Europe economic and trade cooperation.
In the future, GD Chinese Wholesale Centre will continue to play its role as a platform and bridge to promote cooperation between Chinese and Polish enterprises and facilitate the development of bilateral trade.
