On January 21, a delegation from the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce visited GD China Mall in Poland, an enterprise led by the Chamber’s President. During the visit, Mr. Janusz Piechociński, President of the Poland–Asia Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Han Baohua, President of the Chamber and General Manager of GD China Mall, respectively briefed Mr. Lin, Chairman of the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Zhou, Secretary General of the Switzerland Chapter of the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce, along with other members of the delegation.

Mr. Janusz Piechociński provided an overview of Poland’s current economic development and the state of economic and trade relations between Poland and China. He noted that people-to-people exchanges between the two countries have become increasingly frequent in recent years, with more Poles traveling to China for tourism and study, and a growing number of Chinese citizens coming to Poland for education and exchange. In this context, he expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation with the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce and jointly contribute to the promotion of economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Mr. Han Baohua, General Manager of GD China Mall, gave a detailed introduction to the development history and operational status of the Warsaw GD China Mall, and warmly invited enterprises from Shenzhen to visit Poland for on-site inspections and to explore potential cooperation opportunities.
Chairman Lin stated that prior to the visit, his understanding of Poland had been limited. After the on-site visit, he was impressed by the strong presence of Chinese enterprises in Poland and the vibrant trading environment. He expressed the hope that, with Poland serving as an important strategic hub, the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce would further promote enterprises from the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area to “go global” and expand into the European market.
