Hunan Provincial Government and Business Delegation Visits GD China Mall in Poland

On May 24, Director Shen of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce led a Hunan economic and trade delegation on a visit to GD China Mall in Poland, the enterprise where Han Baohua, President of the Poland China Chamber of Commerce, is based.

During the exchange, Director Shen introduced Hunan’s current key industrial development plans and the province’s progress in opening up and international development. He stated that in recent years Hunan has been actively promoting advanced manufacturing, technological innovation, and internationalization, and has developed strong industrial foundations in sectors such as construction machinery, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and light industry. Director Shen also expressed recognition for the achievements made by Chinese entrepreneurs in Poland through their long-term commitment to the local market. He pointed out that Poland, as an important gateway connecting the Central and Eastern European markets, possesses clear advantages in logistics transportation, warehousing and distribution, and market outreach. He expressed hope for further strengthening ties with Poland and the broader European market in the future, and promoting the international expansion of more Hunan enterprises and high-quality products.

Han Baohua, President of the Poland China Chamber of Commerce, introduced the current business operations of Chinese entrepreneurs in Poland and the latest developments in the Polish market. He noted that as China–Europe economic and trade cooperation continues to deepen, an increasing number of Chinese enterprises are paying attention to the Polish market. Demand in the European market for new energy products, intelligent manufacturing equipment, and cost-effective consumer goods continues to grow, while Chinese enterprises possess clear advantages in product supply, manufacturing capacity, and industrial chain support.

Participants also held in-depth discussions on topics including China–Europe freight train transportation, market channel expansion, localized operations, and future directions for cooperation.

All participants agreed that Poland, as an important gateway connecting the Central and Eastern European markets, holds significant geographical and market advantages in China–Europe economic and trade cooperation. The exchange further enhanced Hunan enterprises’ understanding of the Polish market and created favorable conditions for future cooperation between the two sides. Looking ahead, the Poland China Chamber of Commerce will continue to play its role in communication, coordination, and resource integration, providing support for China–Poland economic and trade exchanges and business cooperation.
