The 2026 China–Poland (Guangxi) Economic and Trade Cooperation Symposium Held Successfully in Poland

On May 21, a Guangxi trade delegation organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attended the 2026 China-Poland Guangxi Economic and Trade Cooperation Symposium in Poland, led by Mr. Fu, Deputy Director General of the department. The delegation held talks with Mr. Mariusz Rukat, Chief Expert of the Economic Cooperation and Promotion Bureau of the Marshal’s Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship, Mr. Janusz Piechociński, President of the Poland Asia Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Han Baohua, President of the Poland China Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives of their respective boards.

During the discussions, Mr. Mariusz Rukat, Chief Expert of the Bureau of Economic Cooperation and Promotion of the Office of the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship, shared his views on the current economic development trends in Europe, the prospects for China–Poland economic and trade cooperation, and the regional investment environment. He noted that Poland, as an important hub connecting the Central and Eastern European markets, has been continuously strengthening its international economic and trade cooperation in recent years. He welcomed more Chinese enterprises to pay attention to the Polish market and further deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in areas such as trade, industry, and investment.
Mr. Janusz Piechociński, President of the Polish Asia Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the delegation from Guangxi and introduced the recent development of economic and trade cooperation between Poland and China. He stated that Poland and China have broad prospects for cooperation in areas such as manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, and new energy. He expressed hope that in the future, exchanges and interactions between enterprises from both sides would be further strengthened, more practical cooperation projects would be implemented, and mutual benefit and win-win outcomes would be achieved.
Mr. Han Baohua, President of the Poland China Chamber of Commerce, introduced the current economic development in Poland, its geographical advantages, and the status of China–Poland economic and trade cooperation. Based on practical experience from Chinese entrepreneurs operating in Poland, he also shared insights into the development of Chinese enterprises in the Polish market. He noted that Poland, as an important node country in the Belt and Road Initiative, is becoming an increasingly important gateway for Chinese enterprises entering the European market, thanks to its favorable geographic location and well-developed logistics system.
Participants agreed that Poland, as an important gateway connecting Central and Eastern European markets, holds a unique position in China–Europe economic and trade cooperation. The symposium further strengthened exchanges between Guangxi enterprises and the Polish market and also provided a sound platform for Chinese enterprises to expand into the European market. Looking ahead, the Poland China Chamber of Commerce will continue to serve as a bridge, providing support and services for the sustained development of China–Poland economic and trade cooperation.
