On May 20, a Guangxi trade delegation led by Mr. Fu, Deputy Director General of the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited GD China Mall in Poland, an enterprise represented by Mr. Han Baohua, President of the Poland China Chamber of Commerce.

Han Baohua, President of the China Chamber of Commerce in Poland, together with members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Supervisory Board, received Director Fu and his delegation. During the meeting, he introduced Poland’s economic situation, its geographical advantages, and the current state of China–Poland economic and trade cooperation, and also presented the operating model and development of GD China Mall. He emphasized that, as an important hub country of the Belt and Road Initiative and a key logistics hub for China–Europe freight trains, Poland has been playing an increasingly significant role in China–Europe economic and trade cooperation in recent years. With its strategic location and well-developed logistics infrastructure, Poland serves as a gateway to the markets of Central and Eastern Europe and is becoming an important entry point for a growing number of Chinese enterprises expanding their business in Europe.

Director Fu stated that Guangxi’s foreign trade has maintained strong growth momentum in recent years and that the region is actively supporting enterprises in expanding into overseas markets, including Europe. He expressed hope that the visit would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Poland and the broader European market, and promote more high-quality Guangxi products and enterprises internationally.

During the discussions, both sides also exchanged views on sectors including small household appliances, fragrance products, energy storage systems, and ceramics, with particular focus on brand development, EU certification, and localized operations. The two sides also discussed the development of Poland’s e-commerce market. At present, Poland’s e-commerce sector is developing rapidly, with online sales continuing to expand. Platforms such as Allegro, Amazon, and Temu remain highly active, while traditional wholesale and offline retail channels continue to maintain an important market presence. Both sides agreed that integrating online and offline channels will become an important direction for Chinese enterprises seeking to expand into the European market.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed that Poland serves as an important gateway for Chinese enterprises entering the European market. The Poland China Chamber of Commerce will continue to play a bridging role and, based on its in-depth understanding of local policies and market conditions, provide support and assistance for Chinese enterprises operating and expanding in Poland.
