On October 18, 2018, Liu Guangyuan, Chinese ambassador to Poland, met with Alan Darski, president of the Polish National Chamber of Commerce.
Andrzej Arendarski welcomed Ambassador Liu to visit and review the cooperation between the National Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese Embassy in Poland over the past 20 years. Andrzej Arendarski expressed his appreciation for China’s positive role in the international political and economic arena. Andrzej Arendarski said that many industries in Poland are in urgent need of development and are willing to further strengthen ties with the Chinese embassy in order to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, investment and culture.
Ambassador Liu thanked the National Chamber of Commerce for the long-term support and assistance in organizing and coordinating the economic and trade promotion activities of the two countries and the registration of the General Chinese-Polish Chamber of commerce. He said that the current China-Poland comprehensive strategic partnership develops rapidly under the framework of“Belt and Road” and “16+ 1. There are remarkable results of cooperation in various fields between China and Poland. Poland is the largest country in Central and Eastern Europe. China and Poland have great potential for economic and trade cooperation. They hope that the two sides will continue to strengthen communication, deepen the potential of cooperation, adhere to multilateralism and free trade, and constantly push for more pragmatic cooperation.
